Josephine has given up on love. Ever since she was turned into a vampire a century ago, she has had non-stop loss. She can’t take another. She settles for a life of drinking blood, taking photographs that feel like optical illusions, and the three people she keeps close. Until she goes to the exhibition: Femininity Unveiled.

Gabby wants stability. She has her apartment, career, and her first long-term friendship. But in her exhibition filled with paintings of beautiful women, one person catches her eye: Josephine.

Sparks fly, but can they avoid getting burned when ghosts from the past, secrets, and shocks to the vampire world crash into them?
